The Spice Singapore project is a series of stories of people who do something that shows a spicey aspect of Singapore. It debunks the misconception of Singapore being boring or not happening. These individuals are a unique celebration of what it means to be living in Singapore.
The project includes a logo, a lower-third and a flatlay interstitial which is presented in the opening title of each series. The interstitial design communicates the diverse focus of the series; ranging from the arts, fashion, food, music and nature. All in all, a vibrant Singapore.
The colour palette took after Singapore’s National Flower – Vanda Miss Joaquim; representing the nature of Singapore – a unique country with people of different culture living together in harmony. This spirit is uncommon outside of Singapore and the Vanda Miss Joaquim perfectly captures this unique quality of Singapore.
